Ang Darling Kong Aswang

Victor (Vic Sotto) is a single father who falls in love with Elisa (Cristine Reyes) who turns out to be an Aswang. But even so, Victor love Elisa so much that he accepted who she is and even live with her as his second wife.

But the problem comes when the leader of the Aswang clan (Jean Garcia) founds out that Elisa and her mother (Agot Isidro) are not eating humans anymore. She sents out other Aswangs to hunt down Elisa and her mother, and also for Victor and his family.

Victor then will face the leader of the Aswang clan to save his beloved Elisa.

Ang Panday

Ang Panday ("The Blacksmith") is a 2009 Filipino fantasy film that adapts Carlo J. Caparas' Panday comics. Directed by Rico Gutierrez and Mac Alejandre, the film adaptation stars Ramon "Bong" Revilla, Jr. as the title character. It was released on December 25, 2009.

Revilla previously starred as a version of the title character, Flavio the blacksmith, in the film Dugo ng Panday ("Blood of the Blacksmith", 1993). Phillip Salvador, who plays the antagonist Lizardo, portrayed Flavio in a television series adaptation of Ang Panday (2005).

Wapakman

Topel Lee directs this superhero movie entitled Wapakman. The science fiction comedy would be an official entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival, that takes place during Christmas. Manny Pacquiao is the lead character, an ordinary man who developed super powers.

The sexy comedienne Ruffa Mae Quinto is the new leading lady of Manny Pacquiao for the movie "Wapakman."

Nicole Scherzinger, lead singer of the group Pussycat Dolls, was suppposedly the one who will be the partner of the pound-for-pound boxing champ, but was replaced by Ruffa instead because of conflict of schedule.

WWE Batista (David Michael Bautista), would be the villain in this film.

Panaghoy Sa Suba

Kudos to Cesar Montano for reviving the Cebuano movie! Panaghoy sa Suba is very good -- it has the drama, the action, the romance, and scene that will make you laugh.

While the story is not that original (a love triangle -- or make a four-cornered-love, Japanese occupation, rebellion, American as lord), its presentation is something cool, especially it uses it original language -- bisaya for the Filipino, nipongo for the Japanese and English for the American.

This movie will go as one of this year's best Pinoy movies.

Makuha ka Sa Tingin

Elcid (Robin Padilla) and his friend Tembong (Dennis Padilla) came to the big city in search of jobs. But after playing knight in shining armor and rescuing half-sisters Gelli and Marjorie from a rabid carabao, barrio boy Elcid found himself caught in the intense rivalry bordering on attempted murder between the two girls. Both are rich and pretty and obviously attracted to him. One wants the other dead and he is being asked to execute the plan. The offer is very tempting and it would be such an easy job.
